I have added a number of succulents since february after some succes over the past winter. I will protect them in frost periods with fleece and a heating cable, but other than that it’s an experiment so see how they will cope with my climate.

Nice collection!  I can guess the Ovatifolia will do okay, as they do well in the Pacific Northwest's cold and wet winters.  The Gentryi, Celsii "Nova" and "Americana Mediopicta Alba" probably won't like it.  Mine have a tendency to rot over the winter.  I honestly think that the "Americana" is some sort of Scabra/Asperrima.  Pretty much all forms of Americana grow great here in the swamp of Florida, but Asperrima rots and dies pretty much any time of the year.  Gentryi did ok here for me, but died after frosts in the upper 20s.

Lophantha (both the quadricolor and splendida color types) and Xylonacantha have done very well for me in my swamp.   Parrasana have not, so I'd keep an eye out for any rot on those.

Thanks, the parrasana survived unprotected last winter though. The lopantha is a new addition so your experience makes me hopeful.
