What is the difference between clara and this Frankenbrahea? Both are names for armata x brandegeei ?

Is Brahea clara a hybrid? Naturally occurring?

Here is a shot before I put everything in the greenhouse for the next week. They should all be 3 to 4 leaves each right now, but will start growing once the weather warms.

BTW, I use the pint or 20oz cups because a 1 gallon nursery pot is the perfect next size up.

Mine grows in an ordinary white pot but it pushes its roots through drainage in to the soil of the big clay pot, on which former white pot rests lol.

When had Mr Bleistein offered seeds from his Brahea in PalmTalk for the first time? Add one more year needed for germination and there you have roughly its age!

I'd be interested in this too, if there are any available.

I have a few more popping up right now, so it will be about a month before they are ready to separated.
