First time growing Phoenix

I live in 7a so I thought I'd try to germinate few Phoenix since I stumbled on some Recanta in St Augustine. So they are the first I tried. One thing I noticed a couple was a really light green. These has been fairly slow. Perhaps needs a taller container. Oh these were beside CIPD.

The next I tried I bought some of the carmel dates at my grocery store palms, Phoenix dactylifera (medjool) These definitely grew faster. Recently I got a hybrid Rupicola seed.

Just wanted to share and perhaps some info keeping them.
