Arenga engleri and Rhopalostylis sapida “Great Barrier Island” - Pickup in SF Bay Area

Up for sale are a couple palms so we can get more palms 😁

Arenga engleri - $50. Purchased at the Berkeley Botanical Garden plant sale a year or so ago for the same price. Didn’t grow much at all outdoors in San Francisco so brought it inside and it’s been pushing out a spear. Planning to transfer into a black plastic pot to sell, or can sell with pot for $65.

Rhopalostylis sapida “great barrier island” - $40. Unfortunately I sunburnt this palm - thought it could take some full sun but as you can see from the photo it can’t just yet. Regardless, it has been pushing out a new spear. Selling for about half what I paid.

Bump up to the top. Since my last post the arenga engleri is halfway through pushing out a new spear. Make your best offer, trades accepted too.

Thanks Darold! Here are some updated photos. Its slow growing in our cool mostly shady room (gets an hour or two of sun a day).

I'll take your A. Engleri.  Mine spread too big in one area, and moved it and  then changed my mind.  Cecile

I live in Pleasant Hill, hoping I could possibly meet you halfway in Oakland to pick up, perhaps in Oakland at Palmetum (if I am spelling it correctly).  Let me know.
