Should I be worried about root rot with this mox?

Got some trachies. I put them in black gold type soil with some woodchips. I did this since I had one Trachy growing in that mix while the others in a fairly light and fast draining medium and the one with the black soil grew way faster.

This mix drains fairly fast, but the soil stays moist very long. Allmost like growing in clay. 

Should I worry about root rot with this mix?
