Jubaea 4 years in the ground

What’s everyone’s opinion on this one . I got it in a 24 inch box planted same week . It is really getting massive but almost has a hybrid look to it . Definetly not stiff and upright like most jubaeas

It looks accurate to me, not a hybrid. It probably will fill in once it starts to forms a larger trunk.

Here is a Jubaea x Butia hybrid for sale in Austin. (On right in last picture) Distinctly different.

It seems like it could be part Butia.  The JxB that I have seen are a lot more recurved, but I suppose it varies.  Maybe Jx(JxB) or something?
