Palm ID needed - Livistona Sp.?

A friend of mine owns a nursery in Homestead and his crew picked this palm off the road several years ago after it had fallen off a truck. It looks like some sort of Livistonia. They have commented it is a slow grower. What do you think?

Those long thorns do look like Livistona saribus.  If so that green petiole form is quite cold hardy and would do well in St. Augustine.

Eric @ Leu Gardens said that Saribus really likes the wetter areas at Leu.  I found they like part shade, and tend to yellow out in full sun.  I moved my two small ones to part shade and they are a lot greener.
