The side by side pictures are the same palm just a different view of it. It had a very bizarre flower, that I wish I could remember so I could describe it. I agree the second one is Ptychosperma , I have microcarpum, sanderianum and shefferi listed in old list, but it might not necessarily be one of those. Examples of the inflorescence , that I have seen on the internet, with the purplish enclosure are the same as when my flowers. Thanks so much!
