Queen Palm Deficit

Does anyone know what type of deficit my Queen Palm has. The new leaves have had discolored leaflets since 2-3 years. The yellowed leaflets seem to brown a way faster than the green ones. Would appreciate your help.

I was sorta thinking the same thing, the yellow and green mixture looks a lot like my variegated ginger.

That was my thought also.

If it's mostly the new fronds coming out very pale or white, then it's likely an iron deficiency.  On first glance at the whole plant that seemed reasonable.  But in the leaf photos it looks like it's a streak of white-yellow alternating with streaks of green...but only on some of the leaves.  I agree it looks like it's variegated.  I don't know that I've heard of a variegated queen before, I'd bet it is extremely rare.

Looks like the majority votes for “variegated” instead of “deficiency”. We bought the property 5 years ago and I only have been into palms since 2,5 years. So honestly i can’t remember how it looked 5 years ago. Definitely more neglected..

As there are lots of reports of queen palm deficiencies I have thought it must be one and fertilized it quite regularly including manganese and magnesium. Iron I haven’t fertilized up to now but will give it a try in 2023.
If it doesn’t work I might be lucky and own a variegated Queen Palm.
