Looks more cdip to me. We have many around here, and a couple regular dates. The regular dates always seem a little bluer, and the leaflets grow a little different.

Solid zone 9, I can expect at least one night in the mid to low twenties every year.

Hot, dry summers. Cold, wet winters.

It looks CIDP to me.   However to be clear, CIDP is a date palm too.   (Hence CIDP - Canary Island Date Palm)

By date palm people usually mean the Medjool date (Phoenix Dactylifera) which are the ones we eat, however they are not the only “date” palm. 😉

Thanks for all the suggestions here I got 1 photo of the trunk. I also have another date palm I hope someone can help me identify that is in the 2 photos further down.
