the top picture was taken after it’s been recovering from a freeze, I forgot it outside and the fronds completely died but it’s pushing up new growth.

Yes , I think L. Chinenis . Years ago they were sold as house plants around here in Southern California , I immediately put mine in the ground on a south facing slope and it is growing very nicely ....but oh so slow! It has been there about 20 years and only about 4 feet tall , but again , very healthy. I think the L. Australis is a bit faster. The latter is more spindly instead of the fan shape of yours.

Thanks, it seemed to be more cold hardy to me but it’s not holding up to the needle palm next to it, no spear pull yet
