Palms of Mexico book?

I looked online and it appears that there is no comprehensive book on the palms of Mexico, is this true? I haven't been able to find a site listing the native palms either. I would think, given the country's size, diversity of climates, the diversity and number of native palm species and the fact that palms are native to many of those different climates would make it one of the best countries for a book on its native palms, so I'm surprised there is not one yet, any knowledge of such a book in the works? Would be really cool to have a book like that! Thanks!

Only Mexican palm literature I found was this short text on the palms of Sonora, an interesting read for sure!

The book you want is Andrew Henderson's (et al.) Field Guide to the Palms of the Americas. Published by Princeton University Press and I believe still out of print, it is a paperback and sometimes astonishingly expensive, but if you can find one on Amazon or ABEBooks, eBay, etc., at a good price, you should snap it up. Nearly 400 pages, it covers the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean and all the way down to the bottom of South America. An excellent reference with distribution maps, color photo sections, and lots of technical info. One of the "bibles" that serious palmophiles depend on, and a common resident of many of our reference libraries.

Thumb through Palms Throughout the World by David L Jones. Unfortunately, it's organized by genus, not geography. He wrote a companion book on cycads.

I agree, sometimes it is difficult to find a quality book. This can be a real problem, especially during the learning process. However, fortunately, there are many online services such as https://literaturereviewwritingservice.com/evidence-based-practice-paper/ where you can find good material or get help from experienced specialists.

Yeah, it's tough. There are a couple of books focused on geography, like Madagascar or Cuba (elsewhere?), but I've not seen one for Mexico.

Jones's book, "Palms Throughout the World" covers Mexico and Central America, however it's organized by genus so you'd be jumping all over the book.
