Las Palmas Norte
I saw a YouTube video a while back that featured remote sections of west Texas and along the Mexican border. There were no specific attempts to capture palm trees but cool none the less. Great pics.

I have been wanting to go hiking there, but the new State Natural Area is not yet open to the public (at least, according to their website). Is there another good access location? Awesome pictures btw... You can drive through it on Pinto Canyon rd. , (high clearance vehicle recommended) which connects Marfa to Ruidosa, but the land surrounding it is private. That’s where most of my pictures of the range were taken, the road is amazing. Shafter, Texas is off of 67, which flanks the eastern base of the range. The state occasionally has events on the SNA that open it to the public. The last option is paying for a pricey room at Cibola Creek Ranch. I never got an answer back from them on how much of their 30,000 acres is available to hike, access etc. They offer 4 wheelers for rent, and even Humvee tours at extra cost.
