Seedling setback

My Chrysalidocarpus (dypsis) leucomalla was doing so well. I learned early on it doesn't like any extra water but I think I still hurt it by watering it to soon and it's having a tough time recovering. I moved it to a spot where I think it gets more indirect light but less from the south.

Before injury (I think from watering early) and after:

The middle one shows the current two-leaf with growing tip necrosis.

How can I help this palm make it's best come-back (and not continue to compound injury)? The soil is peat and perlite.

I’ve been having problems with these as well. The first batch (2) I got last year are now both dead. I think you're on the right track with the wet soil though. I pretty sure thats what got the first 2 I had with that same sort of die back. A fungus maybe? Or root rot? The latest batch I received I put in 50/50 coco coir and perlite and they seem to be happier than the last batch. Now I’m dealing with a chlorosis issue on new leaves. Its probably an iron or magnesium deficiency I’ve treated that and now I wait for an improvement to confirm.
