Amazing trip to Havana and Matanzas. Worth thinking about for a future horticultural palm journey. A feast for the eyes and the soul.

Can you rotate and repost ?

I tried but don’t seem to be able to turn them. Don’t know why they are posting this way.  Too large, you think?

Are the pictures from a phone? ..if so, -depending on if you have one installed on it-  you may have to transfer the pictures from your phone to your laptop, then rotate them in the laptop's photo gallery editor..  I've had to do this in the past, and with pictures taken on my camera where the pictures have to be turned.

Some phones will always orient the pictures a certain way, ( often not the way you want them, lol ) depending what mode you're taking pictures in.

If you have an Apple -anything-,.. can't be of any assistance there..   Personally avoid their products like the plague.

Hi - Thanks  - yes the original photos were taken from a phone and posted here from my tablet photo gallery -  but everywhere else i have sent or posted them, whether from the phone photo gallery or the tablet - they have been oriented straight. I will try cutting and pasting to a blank document and then attaching for those who are interested.  And then here - smaller resolutions and not so many at a time in the future…. And yes…….they are generated via the dreaded bit Apple…

Haha, Your good..  Wonder why, if they post the way you want them to, for everyone else you sent them to, why they wouldn't here. Don't think you're the only person who has had the same issue though..

As far as resolution goes, if you can change the pixel size of individual pictures, ( i do this in my laptop's photo gallery ) i've found 2200 X ..whatever,  ..to about 2900 X whatever... to be a pretty good size for posting in threads here.. Bigger you go, less pictures you can upload for posting in a thread. Too small and, ..they're too small,  even if you can upload a bunch, haha.

For Avatar pictures, ~ if you ever decided you wanted to add one to your profile in the future~, found that 195-200 Pixels for a picture is good.. Anything bigger and it will likely get rejected, or you'll have to edit it down.

Wayy down toward the very bottom of the "Off Topics" section of the forum, there is a section titled "Forum Basic for Beginners" ( ..Not just for beginners, btw, everyone has tested pictures there haha.. )  with a starred thread for testing photos before adding to a thread.. Great way to be sure photos are going to post how you want them to..

Btw, Great photos of your trip..

Enjoy..
