Hello, everyone. Which of the following two palms is more cold resistant? How low can they get through? (provided, of course, that they are all over 5 years old)

The first palm is Beccariophoenix Alfredii Palm, the second palm is ARCHONTOPHOENIX CUNNINGHAMIANA, and the third palm is Syagris romanzoffiana.

Welcome to PT !!! So you have to be more specific of what cold looks like. S.Romanzoffiana is the hardiest of the bunch being able to get thru 20° F w/ freezing rain but not guaranteed. If you can get a B.Alfie with size I believe there more hardy then A.Cunninghamiana.

Agreed. Syagrus are weeds through z9. Beccariophoenix a. is unusual but with trunk good to about -5°C. Crownshaft palms tend to be more sensitive. Don't know if they'll take frost.

Archontophoenix cunninghamiana should be fine down to -3c.

Thank you for your advice. I'm very upset about the coming winter.

Thank you. You said -5°C. It should be an adult tree, right? My Beccariophoenix a. is only 2 years old. Should we wait for it to grow up and then plant it outdoors?

Wait to spring to plant it but expect to protect it when it is young. I don't think alfredii do well as long term house/potted plants.
