From Picked Chinese Fan Palm Seed to 14 months of Growing

In October of 2021 I picked around 10 very unripe Chinese Fan Palm Seeds from a family members home. 
 

I then placed all in a ziplock bag in wet paper towels. I changed the paper towels weekly until 1 sprouted, around 90 days after picking from the tree.

I then transplanted the seedling to a small pot, then transplanted to the pot seen in the pictures here.

I live in Florida 9b, my question is, from this stage how long should I wait till I plant outside in my yard?

In 9b I would plant it in the spring. They grow much quicker in the ground so it would be worth freeing it.

@Chris Chance gives solid advice.  That said, I have planted them at the same size in the fall and not had any issues with them establishing.  Mine grew somewhat slow for a year while they established, then took off and started producing mature fronds.

5 years from seed for me here in frozen northern Canada 🥰👍🏻
