Does anybody know what this queen palm is missing? The spots been on the fronds since I would say 4 months . It grows fine but even the new fronds show signs of yellow spots .  Planted it in May this year.  We have clay soil and I fertilized it about 2 months ago .  In the hot summer I water it 2 to 3 times a week now I'm down to 1 time a week since it's colder and we finally receive more rain in SoCen Texas.

Looks like abrasion marks from shipping and (mis)handling.

I don't think this is the case . When I bought it the leaves were young not fan shaped and deep green colored but thank you.

I am by no means an expert but it looks like it maybe a potassium deficiency. Queens are notoriously heavy feeders

.  Hope that helps.
