gurugu
Good job with the pictures. You haven´t left a plant withouth a picture!🙂 Lots of new palms since I was last there. I lived at 300 mts from the garden and I spent more time in it than at home. 😀 Don´t miss Hijuela del botánico, (just behind the Town Hall) , Jardin Victoria (very near it) and the gardens at the Liceo in La Orotava. Public parks in Santa Cruz (capital city) such as: García Sanabria (a proper botanical garden), and La Granja. And The Palmetum, of course. The famous Dracaena Drago at Icod de los Vinos. Though there is a taller one close to it, in calle san Antonio. https://www.google.com/maps/@28.3654654,-16.7205001,3a,75y,223.57h,115.28t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sqAYUPDQYGn7hhmWwHNJJSg!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DqAYUPDQYGn7hhmWwHNJJSg%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D284.58237%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656 You also have Plaza de la Constitución with its famous branched Livistona chinensis. https://www.google.com/maps/@28.3664282,-16.7211016,3a,66.7y,304.05h,95.45t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1svB55VSrA2RC1893MxUY1Xw!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DvB55VSrA2RC1893MxUY1Xw%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D0.39224583%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656 If you go to the south, pay a visit to the garden at Hospiten Sur. https://www.google.com/maps/@28.0584972,-16.7255382,3a,28.6y,236.37h,91.1t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sgxZHpsqKPmHbJTYkGDvpaA!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DgxZHpsqKPmHbJTYkGDvpaA%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D253.80893%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192

gurugu
It should have more branches. If you look more carefully, you'll see some old branches that were pruned long long time ago.

Wouldn't the leaves look deformed afterwards? John
