What would happen if multiple Chamaedorea species grow too close to each other?

For example:

Chamaedorea Seifrizii and Chamaedorea Microspadix clumps. Would they hybridize?

If compatible, yes, they can cross for sure.

The other thing to keep in mind is you'd have to have a specimen of each sex ( Male microspadix, Female sefrizii ) If both are the same sex, forget kiddos.

They don’t have to be really close together for them to produce hybrid seed. Most of my several Chamaedorea species have produced hybrid seedlings despite some being several meters away from each other.
