Measuring temps during winterization

hi, where does one place a digital thermostat reader and also digital Heating Thermostat sensor ( instead of a thermacube), in order to gauge and control the temperatures inside a boxed up palm. Is it better to have the temperatures measured on the ground or nearer to the crown of the palm.  many thanks.

If you look at the very first picture in this thread you'll see how I do mine.  It should also be placed as the thermocube on the non-sun side to avoid false readings.  I use a thermocube - 1 on each palm so I can't answer your second question.  The protection temps will vary on each palm so ideally a temp sensor needs to be in the crown of each palm under the protection but slightly away from the lights/heat.

Thanks. this helps a lot. I will keep temperatures senors at the crown and away from the lights.
