Wanted to share a pic of my Bismarckia Nobilis I raised from seed. I think I started 2018 or 2019. I just repotted it in a 24 gallon pot. Moved it back inside for the winter. Surprised how good it does inside. 20221018_162841.thumb.jpg.4b9971925f91c5203201ae1d1ad31b6f.jpg

I have two in my yard in zone 8a not sure what to do before winter. Got plastic covers over but unsure if it’s enough

Winter low: 16F (December 2022), Summer/spring high: ~85F (March 2023). Very humid climate.

Like, planted in the ground? If so, good luck. It may take a lot to keep these alive in an 8a winter.
