Watering mid fall into winter.

Had some nice growth on a Trachy f. planted the second week of March this year.  It’s planted in a part of my yard that gets both long direct sunlight during the summer (nearly 8 hours total, from early morning to mid afternoon), and the first sunlight in the morning during the winter (about 5 hours total, from early morning to about 1:30 PM or so).  From the start, it put up new growth quickly: at the peak of summer, it would grow a new frond to completion roughly every week and a half or two weeks.  Obviously, things are slowing down now, but it is still pushing out some new growth.

My question is: How much watering do I need to do now and into winter?  Do I just let it go to in between normal rainfall events? During the summer, it required a good deal of extra watering, despite an anomalously wet July and early August, but I realized that much will not be needed during the winter.

Any suggestions?

You should be good and don't need to water anymore till warm weather in the spring . I usually fertilize before I water in the spring then things get moving fast for the season .

At  my place I have 3 palms where about half of the palms' roots  are under an eave so I want to give those palms 1 more good soaking before I stop watering here  , especially under the eave where it is dryer .
