That is considered part of Florida?? The google map link takes it to place a never knew existed between Cuba and Florida. Very cool and interesting!

Ok looked it up. Part of the Bahamas. Still very interesting.  Nice stepping stone for palms from the tropics to make it to mainland Florida. The southern two thirds of the Florida peninsula really do trend Caribbean most of the time.

Yes the Cays are a part of the Bahamas.
