Syagrus glaucescens Seed - SOLD

LJG

Recommended Posts

I have a few packs of 15 Syagrus glaucescens seed for sale. $15/pack plus $5 shipping. All seed being sold sunk and I opened a few and they have embryos (pic below).

This a super rare palm and to be straight forward - very difficult to germinate. I haven’t sold this seed before as I have been putting them down for myself over the years. Of maybe 300 seed I put down, I got maybe 25-30 to germinate. Then they are challenging to grow as seedlings. Not a very good sales job :) But for someone that likes risk, the reward it phenomenal.

Message me to reserve. Thanks.

Thank you, awaiting their arrival. Do you have any suggestions/hints and getting them to germinate. Any info much appreciated.

They are on their way. For germination, best results we’re doing them in styrofoam containers in a seed starter mix.,once they germinate, get them to a free-draining soil.
