So I broke another cheapo shovel. I think it’s time to upgrade to some tools that may last a lifetime. I’m looking for shovels/spades for transplanting and general digging work. I know that there are many full metal options. Do any of you have some recommendations. Price is not a concern, if it’s the last ones I buy I’m good with that. Thanks.

Wolverine...  Their all-steel line of tools are top notch. But not exactly cheap either.  Can't possibly break a steel-handled shovel / spade.   Broken everything else, lol.                                                                                                                     There's couple other companies that sell all steel hand tools as well but can't remember the names off the top of my head.                                                                                              FYI, the " Razorback" line of tools?  Worthless. Cap rock shovel I bought online from them got me nowhere when redo- ing the yard here. Used it once and need to get rid of it.

I use this company, their products are very high quality,  the catalog has at least 50 shovels and spades, including several that are impossible to break,

Thanks guys. I’m putting together an early Christmas list. With most things I find that a high quality tool makes the job easier. Considering how much I use garden spades it only make sense for me to get an upgrade.

:greenthumb:  Definitely can't go wrong with quality garden tools. Would have all The solid steel stuff offered by Wolverine  if I had the extra to spend atm.
