The proper forum for asking questions about palms, germination, etc. is DISCUSSING PALMS WORLDWIDE, the second section on the main page.

In DISCUSSING PALMS WORLDWIDE you will find a large group of participants eager to answer questions, admire photos, and share all things about palms, so please post there for the widest exposure.

This is the right forum if you have a question or news item regarding the supporting organization THE INTERNATIONAL PALM SOCIETY (IPS).

People who post palm questions here assume IPS members will rush in to impart their wisdom. Wrong. That's what the Discussing Palms forum is for and it is loaded with valuable info. Or they could join IPS then post here as well earn other benefits of membership and really "support" palms.
