Yes.  All seedlings are grown in a soilless medium (peat/perlite/sand) and and never have ground contact.  I ship bareroot or in container.

Hello...I have a question for Scott.

I saw an older video you did where you said on certain species of bamboo the whole culm can  planted...while others each individual node must be planted

**Can the entire culm of SEABREEZE be planted for successful propagation? Or must that variety be by individual nodes?

That particular bamboo which does well with what's called "whole culm burial", and which I've had high success with, is Bambusa multiplex varieties.   I don't grow this variety anymore due to its propensity to sooty mold.

I've read and seen where on Bambusa textilis varieties the culm is bent over down low and each node "planted" in a pot to root, but I've never experimented with this method nor whole culm burial of Seabreeze.  

If you have the room it'd be worth experimenting to see if you can achieve success.  Definitely drill a hole and fill each internode section with water then plug the whole before burial.

Bought a cycad and a couple Pembana from Scott. Great communication, fast shipping, really nice looking plants and great packaging. I've bought lots of plants mail order, and a lot of sellers use plastic bags to cut down on the mess and keep soil from spilling out - but I've never got Olive Garden bags before. Extra fancy, highly recommended.
