First Frost!

First frost today here in Wickenburg, AZ.

I don’t have many frost-sensitive plants, except a potted aloe species under the patio roof, so this doesn’t really effect my garden.  Many of my deciduous trees were still in leaf and hadn’t turned colors yet, so it toasted a bunch of green leaves that were due to fall off sooner or later.  Other than that, no meaningful impacts to the garden.  Doesn’t appear we actually hit freezing - it was just very humid last night from a couple days of rain.

Anyone else get frost yet?  What were the impacts!?

A chilly November but an above average December so far.  Nothing as far as frost yet and hopefully none to report come April. :)

We’re at like 6 straight frosts since this happened - which is exceedingly unusual for us.  Last year we hit <30 probably 30+ times, but only ever had two frosts.  We keep hovering around 30 or just above, but getting frost every morning!

Highly interesting to me.

Interesting to me as well.  If you don't mind keeping the frost there, we don't mind if you don't share :innocent:
