Haha... nice!  When they get like over 15 ft, you will not pay as much attention because it is up high.

Don't have to ever worry about that... Once they get big enough to expose a frond to full AZ sunshine, the frond always burns and the palms future days in that spot are numbered.

Awesome, would love a tour of your yard to see what your growing in Phoenix, from another Central AZ grower

Would love to be included, but only if @96720 is up for it, in fact we should get everyone together and organize a series of garden tours! @Rod@aztropic What do you guys think?

My yard is small,so I do better with a 1 on 1 tour; usually when someone comes out to buy a palm. Always happy to provide insight on what we can grow, and I have planted examples to show a touree how well each species can do here.

Never had this question answered (I don’t think so anyways) but does the colour of the new fronds vary with each specimen? Or is it condition related? My Chambeyronia always have more brown fronds than bright red

Yes. Each one is a little different ranging from pink to red to maroon. Best to buy when new leaf is open if you need a certain shade.

Thanks aztropic - all mine are grown from seed. My newest batch I know come from a palm with bright red so hopefully they will replicate that as they mature

The picture was taken today of my oldest seed grown palm

Conditions also have a little bit to do with it when mine was in the greenhouse before I planted it outside color varied from maroon to red. Some never have color.
