This palm just keeps getting more and more beautiful. Just dropped a leaf sheath a few days ago and couldn’t help but snap a few photos.

I think I have something similar that I got from Jerry Andersen 8 years ago labelled Dypsis hovitro.  It is slow as Christmas.  Jeff showed me something at Floribunda that might be the same thing. It was amazing with about eight ft of trunk. I hope I live long enough to see mine do something.

beautiful palm tim.  i never realized but on closer inspection the leaflets seemed to be grouped which is a characteristic i havent noticed in decipiens or maybe i didnt realize.  in yours, this grouping and the way they mature seems more pronounced which i find quite attractive.  thanks for posting.

Rick, this palm is pretty slow to begin with however, it does pick up speed and gets much better looking. 

Thanks KDubU, living in Hilo certainly helps.
