Recently here in Myrtle Beach we've been having zone 9A weather. Is there any possibly way Myrtle Beach in some areas is 9A?

It depends on how you interpret the data.  To answer your question, yes, there is a possible way to say that parts of Myrtle Beach is zone 9A.  In my personal opinion, in the long term coastal South Carolina is zone 8B.

Its 8B.    The only part of SC that is borderline 9A really is the Charleston area.    That is not to say there may not be 9A like winters in MB at times.
