Hello everyone! A couple of months ago my wife and I germinated some date seeds we pulled off a date palm at a mall. Most of the seeds have grown tall, straight leaves but a couple of them curve pretty dramatically to the ground. They actually look like huge roebelenii sprouts to me and are growing well. I know phoenixes readily hybridize, so do you all think the curved ones are hybrid dactylifera and roebelenii?
