I'm on the European Palm Society, as mentioned above, but I strongly recommend you check out the two main, reputable UK palm companies...

Plenty of good resources for Chamaerops Humilis in the UK, which thrive here. You may struggle to find one that is 1m tall, but plenty that will reach 1m within a year or two...
