Hi,

Summer is here complety gone, i want him back :( We have got now a really strong west circulation, with low tempeture around the 20C/68F for the day and 13C/55.4F with a lot of rains, but also some sunshine sometimes... But also local flooding, hail, thunder, heavy winds ...

The only good thing about this, the sky are so beautifull sometimes, because the clouds ... We have got already almost the rainfall for whole July.

Here are some pics from different people cross whole Netherlands.

Fantastic photos Robbin  :P

Clouds like that aren't often seen during summer in California unless the monsoon starts [and it may become active soon  :D

I think we would trade rain & cool temps for the bone-dry heat.  Reached 107F/41.6c in metro LA yesterday  :o

Very cool photos Robbin.

This could be a neat thread if we get some more replies.

Here's a cold front passing through last summer. Temps dropped 20 degrees after it passed. This was taken shortly before 60+mph winds hit the area.

Looks very much like Houston most days so far this summer.  What's your year-to-date rainfall total?  We're over 36" (914mm) as of today.

Just be thankful you don't live in a US plains state like Kansas.  In places like that clouds that look like your photos usually have a tornado hidden in them .......

¿¡Snow in July and horizontal lightenings?!?! We never see this here.  I saw some of your previous threads about skies, You surely show some interesting happenings.

Here in the Canary Islands we barely see lightenings and they just happen three or four days a year. Once or twice a year we witness major cold storms coming from the NE Atlantic or tropical storms coming from the SW. Sometimes we have weird skies, mostly linked with the trade winds... streams of clouds, caps of clouds, a sea of cloud, a sea of cloud with holes allowing some sun beams to reach the sea.
