Isn't it great to see the true leaf emerge? These are nice-looking palms in their youth (that's when I like them best) and, as you say, reliably hardy.

We just had multiple dips into the low 20s followed by some warm weather. I'd like to say this mule is hardened but we shall see. Either way its recovery from being trunk cut fires me up.

Just scrolled through this entire thread haha. Love seeing the growth and progress over the years. I’m sure you put in a lot of work to keep that all looking beautiful. A palmy jungle garden is something i’d love to have in the future.
