Rain in West Palm Beach

It is really raining this afternoon here at my house in The Acreage area of Palm Beach County.  It rained yesterday as well.  Glad I got fertilizer out.  Everything should really start growing.  I cold dance out in it.  I hope the Kissimmee River Basin is getting some so Lake Okeechobee will get some more water in it.

It must be nice Kitty.  Did I mention wild Opuntias are popping up in my garden now?  I see sand dunes in my future.  Rain is mythical here.

Ray,

Sorry you aren't getting any of this wonderful rain.  Opuntias, huh?  Wow!  Can't believe you are so dry on that coast.  You must be in a little pocket of desert.  I will do a little rain dance for you.

Thanks for the optimistic thoughts.  This is reminding me of an AA meeting....."I've been rain free now for 15 straight days."

Kitty,

Been raining here and there at my place as well. Have had a few 1 to 1 1/2 inch rain storms this last week. Everything has really perked up and the lakes and canals are finally starting to fill up again. Lets hope it keeps up.

Raining now in Tampa (local time a little before 10pm)

Not enough, kind of a joke.  Lots of lights and thunder farts but not enough wet.

Alan and Ray

I wish we could share.  Here it's raining and raining and raining; rain every day last week, no less that a 40% chance every day this coming week.  We're over 30" for the year, 7+" above normal for this time of year.  I think June is our wettest month, but our rainfall from most to least doesn't vary much, not like we have wet or dry seasons, much like y'all, I'm sure.

Get rid of your high pressure and we'll send some your way and to our friends in GA and AL.
