How much do you water these in pots with drainage,can you overwater them?,and how much do you water per foot of trunk?

You can't overwater these if you have free draining soil and the holes aren't plugged.  They like plenty of water and fertilizer.

What if it's a hot week do you water everyday

Being in the UK your hot is like our April so watering every day would be excessive.
