Bismarckia Freeze Damage Galveston, Texas

My 10+ year old Bismarckia was damaged by two days of freezing weather early this winter. I think it will be Ok, but wanted other opinions. Should I trim more fronds?

I've seen worse than this live.  My opinion, it will grow out of it.

In two years there will be no signs of any damage, it will grow out. As soon as temperatures rise, a good palm special fertilizer would be helpful.

A lot of Bizzies in Houston sailed through the last two years, so I bet it's doing fine.

Here's an update almost 4 and 1/2 months later.

The tree put up what was left of a leaf, has a new limb and spear. All that has come back very slowly. I've treated it repeatedly with copper fungicide. It appears that the North side of the trunk froze about 2inches deep and that area is soft. The rest of the trunk is hard.

Here are some new images.

Very impressive that it is still alive. It just may make it if we can get an average or warmer winter this year.
