Debating between setting up sprinklers around my gardens vs soakers vs drip hoses.

Either way it'll be a job laying it down and picking it up, But Im on well and not ready to invest in a big boy irrigation just yet. What do yall use for ornamental irrigation? Ive used them all but curious as to what yall use. We have a utisol clay soil.

All my planter beds have Netafim installed.  Then in addition I have drip and misters where other plants need supplimental water.

Ahh very cool! I did sprinklers the last 2 years with decent results, but Im going to try and limit the droplets on foliage as the summer sun is brutal for months on end and dont want to damage them. I love the idea of a bubbled soaker per tree, but that might be a buildup as it requires ALOT of hose. One day though!melnor-stationary-sprinklers-710-64_1000

Honestly this year Im going to try these out wrapped around the base of each plant and see if a early AM and dusk soaking will be better than last seasons. One day Ill have a nice irrigation system lol. But until then trial and error should prove interesting at least!

The only watering system that works in my garden is micro sprinklers that you get in a kit. I like them because I can control home much water is used on individual plants. I have drought tolerant plants next to water-loving plants. Only bad thing is they don't last for ever.

Here the one I use.... https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIG-Flower-Bed-Watering-Kit-R750/202245330?keyword=dig+flower+bed+watering+kit&semanticToken=21040+++%3E++++st%3A%7Bdig+flower+bed+watering+kit%7D%3Ast++cn%3A%7B0%3A0%7D++watering+can+%7Bproduct%7D+dig+flower+bed+kit+%7Brest%7D+

Wow that looks like it would take hours to setup, but neat idea! Eventually I'll build a true irrigation system but until then its hoses galore!
