Warm tropical weather

Well down at 35S on the SW coast of Australia you pray for warmth and summer. We almost always have cool nights even after a hot day. Well yesterday we had a warm and humid 27.4C day and then thunderstorms and heavy rain all night from around 6pm. My weather station bottomed out at 16.9C for a very short time but it was above 20C virtually all night. At 2am it was 21.8C. This morning at 7.30am it's 22.8C dead calm with 74% RH and the sound of more thunder rolling in. Just went for a walk in the garden and everything's damp warm and humid and the palms are just opening leaves everywhere. Happy days.

I hope summer is going to be just like this.

Just had a 34C day today and not a totally dry heat but then not really Darwin humidity either. Somewhere in between. Its night now and I'm giving everything a good soaking. In the 30's again tomorrow and then possibly a thunderstorm. Great BBQ weather.:)

Got to 33C yesterday and a cloudy 19.1C with nearly 100% RH overnight which is warm for here. Today we were in low clouds and steamy hazy misty conditions with 28C and high humidity. Now the thunderstorms are rolling in from the north. Love it.

Between Albany and Denmark today. See the humidity and haze on the far hills.

A bit of coastal rain this morning and yesterday arvo is keeping the temps mild and humidity up. Great Rhopalostylis and Ceroxylon weather. I never need to water the lawn here not even in summer.
