Copper Fungicide

Is it ok to use copper fungicide in the fall to prevent any problems of spear rot or to keep my palms heathly? Ive had a terrible time overall on some palms and as winter approaches I'm looking to get then in good shape for the cold months. Does it hurt?

I would fertilize instead. I use copper for spear pull situations to stymie rot in the hole.

I certainly would not fertilise palms at this time of the year, as it promotes soft growth leading to spear rot.  As for copper,  I can't help you as I only ever use it to stop rot on palm seeds.

You're from Wales. We still have plenty of heat for the growing season. A healthy palm recovers more quickly. Over there, maybe things cool off quicker.
