Hi Rafael,  I'm sorry no one has answered you sooner.

You may change the notification methods in your settings.  Click on the arrow next to your name at the top right of the screen and select "Account Settings."  When that page loads, look to the right side of the page for "Other Settings" and you will see the first choice under that is "Notification Settings."  Click on that, and when the page loads, you will see a selection of choices for managing your notifications.

I do not get any emails, but I have the top box selected so that the Administration can contact me if necessary.  I have only checked "Play a sound when I receive a browser notification."  This occurs only when I log in.  No emails.  :)
