Nice Chambeyronia!

Thanks Antonio! The photo was taken about 3 weeks ago, and that colour lasted no more than 3/4 days :(

Worth it, tho!

How about a picture of the rest of the plant? Leaves die all the time.

The other leaves are only green  and on the backside silver , so they are not suited for this colour thread …… :bemused:

I'm obsessed with colorful palms, especially mottled understory palms! Please share more photos, all! Here's what I can offer for now. A newly unfurled leaf on one of my Pinanga coronata 'Kuhlii'/'Blunt Leaf' plants.

You're killin it Missi. Verschaffeltia are really nice at this stage.

Here are a couple of photos of Heterospathe 'sumptinorother' maybe H. intermedia. Never had the correct name for this one, but hey, it's a great palm.

Sorry, of course you're right, I meant:  in a srilankan garden...

BTW: Pal Meir, you a scientific palm friend:
what do you think of these S. leucophylla and S. elegans being the same species? shouldn't be at least  2 sub-species?
