I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Thanks for being so thorough. I go there 2 or 3 times a year and haven't noticed half of those. I also love the Yapa, but the Belmor is pretty awesome too.

Dave,

Very nice photos. This is a garden that I would like to find time to visit. They look like they have a nice collection of palms and cycads. How big is the gardens? And can you walk it in one day?

Hello Jeff. While Quail is a good size garden with a great collection of palms and cycads amongst many other wonderful species of plants it is well laid out and can be easily toured in just a few hours. This leaves you lot more time to check out other parts of San Diego. Maybe the zoo first then an afternoon at Quail! Please let me know if you come out to San Diego it would be great to meet you!
