Lol, I feel you... I feel the same every time I go to work on my garden lately...body so sore but so much detail work to finish.  Your place is really coming together!

well... the time has finally arrived...Yipeeee!!

framing started today for the pathway forms.

This has been in the makings for the last 6 months.

A big thanks to all the palm talkers who helped with the grading and prep work to make this possible.. :)

Here are just a few pic's from today.. I will post many many many more in the days to come.

I'm still unsure of what concrete to use??

Use the hard concrete Josh, it lasts longer...

:floor:

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

"The great workman of nature is time."   ,  "Genius is nothing but a great aptitude for patience."

-George-Louis Leclerc de Buffon-

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Am I noticing a disproportionately low amount of New Cals? Or did I just miss them in the 14 pages of bliss?  :)

some new cals will be planted this year. with a project this size I'm target planting only the bigger full acclimated palms. Most new cal stuff needs canopy to start off with.

I'll post more pictures tonight. Phase 1 is  complete. I'm working on phase 2 the rest of the week and I hope to start phase 3 by Tuesday of next week. I'm estimating we will have completes the final phase(4) IN 2 WEEKS TIME. This concrete job is way bigger than I previously thought up on paper :)

I cant wait to have this pathway project job completed. This idea had been in the works for almost 11/2 yrs and to see it come into reality is sure a kick in the pants:greenthumb:

3.JPG.ea58e6bb7729f09ba56cd93d22fddf2e.JThe contractor I chose is no stranger to quality pathway work in the garden setting. I'm thrilled at how good everything looks so far and this is only phase 1 of 4..

Cheers!
