I am not sure crotons and cordylines we use in srilankan gardens can grow? Looking forward to seeing new pictures. I'm not really sure what type of ground cover and companion plants I'm going to use. I was thinking about adding some types of bromeliads and rare flowering trees. I'm always open to suggestions. Josh-O
Well, now that the pathway project is finally over with and I have recharged my batteries I'm back to planting in the garden. Today we muscled in a very large syagrus schizophylla in a 30" box. I have been wanting to plant this palm for more than 3 yrs now. I'm super excited to see finally this palm in the ground. Whew! it took 2 of us with a huge box dolly to move this monster it was hard to negotiate this turn so we had to stop to stratigize ..lol not quite yet... yup, this is the perfect spot 2 Carlsbad, California Zone 10 B on the hill (402 ft. elevation) Sunset zone
Josh-O
we had to take roughly 2 15 gals worth of dirt out of the box just to move it around. it was that heavy it was a quick easy dig 2 Carlsbad, California Zone 10 B on the hill (402 ft. elevation) Sunset zone
