Apparently, an undersea earthquake in the South Pacific sent a tsunami several yards high crashing into the Solomon Islands, devastating at least one village. There's at least 8 reported dead.

Seems a bit of panic ensued today , but after the Asian Tsunami images still pretty fresh in everyones mind , can you blame people for running for high ground .

As of tuesday, there are 28 reported deaths so far. Pictures of the islands and some of the damage are just beginning to show up on the news. It's a shame, these people had very little to begin with.
