Now we are watering to the extent the fungicide begins to

seepage into the soil medium, coating the seeds, the coil fiber in the bottom,we water it till the drain water comes with trace

Now its clear that the entire pot along with the seed is fully

drenched with that contact fungicide_since from its drain holes

along with water even the yellow coloured chemical is comming out !

wait till all the water along with chemical come out in that very

place itself.then after sometime move or place it in indoor

location or trays, beds or fencing covers.

and after 2 days or so if the medium appears dry mildly water

it with a tea kettle or glass !

from now on only when the medium dries water the pot.

your done !  :)

NOTE :

The above illustrations were conducted at my tarrace top,

but you can do it in your garden.as all the chemicals will go

to the soil and you will not need much of cleaning that floor.

but if you have pets take care that stuff shown is chenical

based fungicide and is poisioness.even care must be taken

to cover the face, hands & eyes of the person who uses it.And avoide using these chemical on a breezy day.since the particles will travel more as aerosol.

Bye for now ! see you later with some new information,

Kris  :)

Dear Aaron  :)

Thanks man for those sweet & kind encouragement ! it certainly gives me strenght to do this thing better...

and if you find some errors that are being over looked,

you are at liberty to point out.so that the person who

goes through this info will be emmensely benfited.since

most of us are growing plants or palms from different

land or buying the seeds.so less waste will work out to

more living palms..

thanks for visiting this thread and kindly be a regular to our forum.since its been a while i think ?

Dear Guys  :)

Great news today i went into my dark room which is naturally

around 88 to 90 Degree Farenheat at present.

and in the PseudoPhoenix Ekamanii baggie bag on closer

inspection found a tiny root at the bottom of the baggie

bag.it contained only 2 seeds in them and it was nearly 3 and half weeks old living in that babbie bag.

now lets see the stills_

After removing the Coco Coir dust, here i saw 2 seeds did

germinate.one in a position to be potted while the other needed some time in mother natures bed(i.e it was put back into that baggie bag and once again placed in the dark room.

here look at the germinated seeds they are for your visual

illustrations_

Since madras is under the spell of heat wave and sudden

dissiles(Rains).the air was preety wiered.so i sprayed some

water on the black plate in which the seed is currently placed

for that moist effect.then i immedietly covered the seed with a

see through container.so as when i finish readying the pots for the work the seed should not get dried-up !

here is a still explaining that work_

the location is our terrace_roof top of the house !

and these are the basic materials that one would need to continue on with the work of potting up the germinated seeds..

here are some visuals_

now lets see what these things are one by one_

here i have taken fine washed river sand_this is the grade we use for plastering our buildings.i try not to use course sand

during summers.since water will not remain in the pot system at all.

last time i used clayee soil for this domenican cherrypalm.

roots are developing but sprout did not appear.so for a change this time iam using nice or fine textured river sand.

that is what is placed here in that metal plate_

next ingredient is the container or pot or in my case i use

plastic bottles with bottom drain hole in them_

now to plug the bottom holes one must use filters or in my case i use coco coir fiber..or else the drain holes will not function properly due to clogging or in some case the entire

sand particles will flow out with each time watering !

now start filling the fine sand into the pot, while the desired height is reached then stop for a moment.now place the seed

and ask some one else to fill up the soil gently from the sides.

and once the sprout is visible on the soil surface stop right

there.no more filling is needed.now add a tea's spoon of

contact based fungicide(Broad spectrum type) on the top

surface.

As seen in this still_

Now start watering gently with a help of a tea kettle or some

thing similar.but not under a tap or shower_Please !

so that all the excess fungicide seen on the top layer of the soil should dissolve into the entire pot or container.

do this as seen in this still_

A long shot to show how the yellow coloured water starts

flowing out of the drain holes of the pot.and wait for about

10 to 15 minutes to allow excess water to drain-off.then take this pot into an area where it does not get any direct sunlight

but fresh air is a must.and kept this away from the reach of children's and pets.

this is a final still of this work,to sum it up !  :)

Love,

Kris  :)

unit.this is very handy for people trying this work in very dry

and arid regions.

you guys will all would have wondered as to how i have punched drain holes into the plastic bottle.very simple !

Just go to the kitchen room and take a thick iron nail and take

a handle player to hold it tight in the falme.and heat the nail till it appears red or white in colour.then take the bottle in one hand and start putting holes in that container.five to 6 six holes is preety sufficient for proper drainage of water.

here are the still for you !
