Licuala grandis in Evening Garden

In 2012, I didn't know so much about Licuala grandis requirements. (it was before Palmtalk)
Since this species s quite easy to find in Sri Lanka, we bought and planted some of them in the new Evening garden: full sun!

Some died, others have grown; now a more shady atmosphere start to develop, I hope they'll like it.

Such a beautiful palm! I have several Licuala species, but not this one. Maybe something to add to my wish list!

A very beautiful small palm in your garden like a paradise. :greenthumb: – Because of its manageable size I like this Licuala sp. also as a potted palm which grows without problems indoors (here 2 photos of the same tree taken in 2003 and 2008).

!!!! I am impressed by all the species you grow indoor, which I would kill so quickly,

Gladly I do a garden with palms where it's easy to grow them. :)
